Dead Air
A downloadable experience for Windows
Made for GitHub Game Off 2025: Waves
Dead Air is an atmospheric isolationist horror game about mysterious radio transmissions. You play as a lone Soviet soldier manning a listening outpost somewhere in Siberia, 1976. Your mission is to decode and listen to incoming enemy radio transmissions. What happens after that is unclear. You may not be as isolated as you think. Pass the time by listening to jazz on the radio or observing the bleak landscape outside the window. But stay alert.
This game is not about difficulty or hardcore mechanics. It’s focused on atmosphere and immersion. This is my most ambitious game so far and I’m proud of the result.

Good 👍
Nice game. It has a nice story build up as well as a good creep factor to it as well. Keep it up.
Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/@Levont
Thank you so much for playing, I really appreciate the video and you giving the game a shot. Glad you enjoyed it!
Included this in my 3 random horror game video!
What a solid game this was! Amazing atmosphere and story building. Made a video on it.
Thanks for playing man! I appreciate the feedback too.
good job bro, but "no cheap jumpscares"... what does it means, is the last one because you didn’t know how to finish the game? btw it doesn't matter, please keep developing it!!
edit: please add subtitles!!
Thanks for the feedback! I didn't have time in the jam to flesh out the game as much as I would have liked and I found this ending to be quite fitting for a narrative based game. But, of course, I would have liked a more expansive ending sequence with a potential escape or fleeing-sequence. Thank you for playing!
Thank you for playing!
Hey, i played your game on video!
really cool game, the last scare actually scared me so bad i couldn't move lmaoThanks for playing man! I appreciate you giving the time to play my game and also edit the video, it was really funny to see hahah!
